JAMB Discloses Number of Candidates Admitted So Far For 2018/2019 Session The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, (JAMB) has disclosed that about 24,148 candidates have gained admission into various higher institutions in Nigeria as at August 29, 2018 for the 2018/2019 academic session. This was made known by JAMB Head of Media, Fabian Benjamin during a telephone chat with newsmen on Wednesday. The JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, on the other hand has frowned at agitations for the reduction of JAMB Registration fees. Photos: Yinka Ayefele's radio and music house valued at #800million has been demolished by the Oyo State government   The Oyo State government has demolished a property belonging to popular singer, Yinka Ayefele.   Despite the protests by staff and fans of  Yinka Ayefele, the property which is estimated at over N800m and  houses the popular Fresh FM and Ayefele's music studio in Ibadan was demolished in the early hours of Sunday, 19 August 2018.   The state government had  marked the structure located on the  Challenge-Toll Gate road for demolition for allegedly contravening the state ’s planning laws. Video: Ugandan Police arrest racist American pastor for assaulting and humiliating hotel employee in Kampala Police in Uganda have arrested Jimmy Taylor, the racist American pastor who was caught on camera attacking an employee of Grand Imperial Hotel, Kampala. Taylor has been detained at the Central Police Station, Kampala on charges of assault. In a video which has since gone viral, the American pastor is seen pursuing a hotel employee and slapping him several times on claims that he “disgraced Jesus.” The Ugandan man, who is referred to in the video as Francis, remained calm the entire time, even as Taylor kept calling him derogatory names. Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi signs new six-year deal with Leicester City (Photo)   Super Eagles midfielder  Wilfred Ndidi , 21, has committed his future to Leicester City  after signing a new six-year contract with the Premiership club.
