JAMB Mock Exam 2018: New Date To Be Announced Soon

Image
JAMB Mock Exam 2018: New Date To Be Announced Soon An earlier announcement by JAMB had it that the mock exam will hold 1st week of February. However, till now the board is yet to announce a definite date for it. The purpose of the Mock examination is to give candidates who have little or no Idea about JAMB CBT to get familiar with it. The truth is with or without the mock examination, you can start getting familiar with the JAMB CBT questions. We believe the delay in the conduct of the Mock exam was due to the fact that the earlier deadline for the 2018 UTME Registration was postponed. With the conclusion of the 2018 UTME Registration, we expect JAMB to announce the date for the Mock examination any moment from now. Please note that the Mock examination is not a criterion for participating in the main examination, neither will it be part of your score/result in the main exam.

Things you should know about Valentine before you celebrate it

Image
Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate romance and love and kissy-face fealty. But the origins of this festival of candy and cupids are actually dark, bloody — and a bit muddled. Though no one has pinpointed the exact origin of the holiday, one good place to start is ancient Rome, where men hit on women by, well, hitting them. From February 13 to 15, the Romans celebrated the feast of Lupercalia. The men sacrificed a goat and a dog, then whipped women with the hides of the animals they had just slain. The Roman romantics “were drunk. They were unclad,” says Noel Lenski, a historian at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Young women would actually line up for the men to hit them, Lenski says. They believed this would make them fertile. The brutal fete included a matchmaking lottery, in which young men drew the names of women from a jar. The couple would then be, um, coupled up for the duration of the festival — or longer, if the match was right. The ancient Romans may also be
